STEVE ARENS

Steve Arens, Broker/Owner of NHS Commercial, is in his second decade of real estate services in the commercial property industry. His background also includes franchise and local business ownership, land and property development, farmland ownership and sales services. At NHS Commercial, Steve is utilizing all of this experience to focus his efforts in Tenant/Landlord and Buyers/Sellers services in the areas of office space, medical facilities and retail properties.

REAL ESTATE SALES EXPERIENCE:

In 2003, Steve began his career in residential real estate. While working for a national real estate brand he earned a Top Ten award in 2005. Since then, he has developed relationships throughout the Midwest in all areas of real estate.

COMMERCIAL PROPERTY AND BUSINESS OWNERSHIP:

Steve is an owner of the Omaha-based Scooters Coffee Franchise and also has ownership on the commercial property services side with Jiffy Lube in Lincoln. Steve also has ownership with two local businesses; Lincoln based bank, NBC (Nebraska Bank of Commerce), as well as Nebraska Home Sales, LLC. Steve is an owner in a development property project in southeast Lincoln and continues to be actively involved pursuing additional local and national business partnerships.

FARMLAND EXPERIENCE:

Over the past 25 years Steve has worked to build successful relationships in the agricultural community. To gain a better understanding of farmland service, Steve worked for one of Nebraska’s leading farmland real estate brokerages. He also had a successful career with Bayer Corporation, a Fortune 500 company and a regionally owned agricultural services company.

BUYING AND SELLING OF BUSINESS EXPERIENCE:

Throughout his career, Nebraska business owners have called on Steve to assist in finding qualified buyers when selling family businesses which led to his desire to be part of the Nebraska Angels Investment group. Steve has also supported projects with startup companies by helping entrepreneurs with the necessary capital and business plan guidance.

EDUCATION:

Steve has utilized his degrees from the University of Nebraska in Agricultural Economics and from Friends University (MBS) to support his passion of the real estate business.
